This project has been shaped through years of study, community engagement, and regulatory review. Here’s a look at what we’ve accomplished so far.
Section 19 and one-quarter of Section 30 were acquired to expand recreational opportunities.
Stakeholder groups formed, public meetings and outreach efforts take place.
Initial meetings with Chelan County, Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife, and US Forest Service officials to outline the proposed expansion process. MR begins the permitting process through a Mitigated Determination of Non-Significance (MDNS).
Master Planned Resort (MPR) application filed and deemed complete.
Mission Ridge is notified that a full Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) would now be required rather than an MDNS.
Mission Ridge begins additional environmental studies to support the review process and ensure a comprehensive understanding of site conditions.
Ongoing environmental studies and analysis to support the EIS.
Mission Ridge works with agencies to advance the project towards approvals.
The Draft Environmental Impact Statement is expected to be released for public comment.
