The Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) for the Mission Ridge Expansion is now available, and the public comment period is officially open.
This milestone gives our community the chance to review the environmental studies and share feedback about the project. The DEIS highlights how the expansion is designed to balance growth with stewardship, including:
- Wildfire risk reduction through thinning and defensible space
- Wildlife corridors and habitat protections
- Water safeguards and stormwater management
- More than 600 acres of land dedicated as permanent open space
